The End is Truly Near

"He replied, 'Don't let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Messiah,' and saying, 'The time has come!' But don't believe them. And when you hear of wars and insurrections, don't panic. Yes, these things must take place first, but the end won't follow immediately.' Then he added, ,'Nation will go to war against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven. But before all this occurs, there will be a time of great persecution. You will be dragged into synagogues and prisons, and you will stand trial before kings and governors because you are my followers. But this will be your opportunity to tell them about me. So don't worry in advance about how to answer the charges against you, for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply or refute you! Even those closest to you--your parents, brothers, relatives, and friends--will betray you. They will even kill some of you. And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But not a hair of your head will perish! By standing firm, you will win your souls. And when you see Jerusalem surrounded by  armies, then you will know that the time of its destruction has arrived. Then those in Judea must flee to the hills. Those in Jerusalem must get out, and those out in the country should not return to the city. For those will be days of God's vengeance, and the prophetic words of the Scriptures will be fulfilled. How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days. For there will be disaster in the land and great anger against this people. They will be killed by the sword or sent away as captives to all the nations of the world. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the period of the Gentiles comes to an end. And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. So when all of these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!'

Then he gave them this illustration: 'Notice the fig tree, or any other tree. When the leaves come out, you know without being told that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near.'" -Luke 21:8-31 (NLT)

I just want you to take a minute and allow all of that to sink in. 

It is time to look up brothers and sisters. It is time to WAKE UP! We are experiencing these things now! Nations warring against each other! Kingdom against kingdom! Great earthquakes in different places! Plagues! Famines! Don't you see?? These are the things Jesus spoke of, and we are witnessing them everyday!

The world is getting worse and worse.... I'm going to step on toes, I'm going to offend people but I don't care.... we are running out of time, we can't worrying about hurt feelings when it comes to the truth.

Abortion is rampant. People are marching for rights to murder their child just because they made bad decisions! They chose to have unprotected sex, and instead of owning up to it, they are killing their babies! It breaks my heart because I see so many people struggling to have children, struggling to start a family and having to watch these people who have no problems getting pregnant KILL their precious, innocent baby! If you are in that situation, let me give you some phone numbers of people I know would gladly take your baby and love them.... 

IT IS MURDER! Stop justifying it! Please understand, we all make mistakes. This might be a struggle for you... something you have done and regret. Let me tell you friend.... THERE IS GRACE! But to those of you holding up your signs, shouting into your bullhorns, circulating your petitions.... ABORTION IS MURDER! Stop trying to justify it. That baby is a human being from the moment of conception. There is no "good" time to abort a baby. JUST STOP!

Let's step on a few more toes! Shall we?

The LGBTQ(HIGKLMNOP) community.... Your lifestyle is a SIN! The Bible calls your lifestyle an ABOMINATION! Don't misunderstand me! PLEASE!!! YOU are NOT and abomination! Your SIN, and your LIFESTYLE IS! God LOVES YOU, but he HATES your SIN. He wants you to see the life He has for you! He wants you to live life "more abundantly" but you have to turn away from your sin! 

It is time to WAKE UP! Stop sugar coating the Word. If you are living your lives in sin you will go to hell.... Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven! There isn't multiple pathways, there is only one! 

"Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.'" -John 14:6 (NLT)

Jesus is the only way to the Father. 

"Now repent of your sins and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped away." -Acts 3:19 (NLT)

1. feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin.

 You have to repent. You have to ask God for forgiveness but after doing so you can't just go right back to sinning! You have to turn away from it and accept Christ into your life! 

"About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. 'Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?' Jesus asked. 'Is that why they suffered? Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fel on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish too.'" -Luke 13:1-5 (NLT)

Being saved doesn't mean that you never sin. It does mean that you do your best not to. That you try to live like Christ. It means that when you sin (and you will!) that you turn to God and repent. 

Jesus is coming soon. The end is truly near. It's time to leave your foolish ways behind...

"'Watch out! Don't let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don't let that day catch you unaware, like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth. Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.'" - Luke 21:34-36 (NLT)

Repent. Accept Christ as your savior. THE END IS NEAR!

Worrying does NOTHING for your situation. Instead, it ruins your life. It makes you sick, miserable and worn out. You have NO control. You have NO power. So why worry? Give it to God and take Him at His Word. He's got this.

Worry is USELESS. God is ABLE. God is WORKING. God is IN CONTROL.

Live with hakuna matata:) It means no worries!
